Knife-Edge Surface Mount CBS"This Knife-Edge surface mount fence is a new edition to Leader Tech's CBS product line. It allows designers to realize a true knife-edge solder connection on a fence. These fences are available with or without locating pins."

Features:
  • Available standard with notched knife-edge for surface mount
  • Available standard with locating pins @ .25 & .50 inch
  • Select pin removal allows custom patterns
  • Standard heights of .40, .50, & .80 inch
  • Added heights available - to 2.0 inch
  • Secure gripping fingers - (Leader Tech Patent)
  • Standard .015" (.38mm) pre-tinned steel for strength and enhanced solderability
 Benefits:
  • "ABSOLUTE SEATING" of the notched knife-edge eliminates float and improves wicking during the solder flow
  • The true knife-edge reduces width of fence at the solder trace and improves location on the recommended minimal trace solder width of .100 inch
  • "DESIGNERS CHOICE" for custom pattern of locating pins. Standard choices of "No Pins", .25 inch, .50 inch or (customer selected locations)
